What a Broker Brain is
A Project is a dedicated workspace where AI remembers your context. Upload your documents once and it refers to them every time, so you never re-explain who you are. By the end of this session that workspace is yours.
The build: three short prompts generate your knowledge files, then five minutes to set up the Project. That's it.
Step 1
Train AI about you
Fill in the brackets, then copy the whole thing into Claude or ChatGPT. It reads and stores who you are.
About my business:
My name is [first and last name]. I am a mortgage broker based in [suburb, state]. I specialise in [e.g. residential lending for first home buyers and investors]. My business is called [business name].

About my clients:
My ideal client is [two to three sentences: who they are, what they're trying to achieve, and what they worry about most]. For example: a first home buyer in their late 20s to early 40s who wants to get into their first home without making a costly mistake. Their biggest frustration is not knowing where to start or whether they can actually afford it.
About me:
I got into broking because [one sentence]. I'm known for [one sentence: your reputation, approach, or point of difference].
How I communicate:
I communicate in a [e.g. warm and professional / direct and conversational] way. I write in plain English, keep things simple, and avoid jargon.
How I want you to help me:
Your job is to help me draft client communications, summarise documents, prepare compliance notes, and support my day-to-day admin. You are not a financial adviser. Everything you produce gets my eyes on it before it goes anywhere near a client, a lender, or a compliance file.

Step 2
Build your Master Business File
Straight after Step 1, paste this in. It produces a clean one-page knowledge file, your primary file, reusable across every AI platform.
You are a professional writer specialising in creating AI knowledge files. Your task is to produce my Master Business File, a clean, structured one-page summary based on everything I've just shared with you.
Format it with five short sections:
About My Business

How I Communicate
How to Help Me
Write it in my communication style. Keep each section to two to three sentences. Plain English only. No jargon.
Output: a clean, copy-paste ready knowledge file I can load into my Broker Brain Project.
Save the output. This is your Master Business File.
Step 3
Create your instructions
Now generate the instruction layer, the short system prompt that tells your Broker Brain how to behave in every conversation.
You are a professional writer specialising in creating AI system prompts. Based on everything you now know about my business, my clients, my writing style, and how I want you to help me, write a short system prompt I can paste directly into my AI Project or Agent instructions.
It should:
State my business name and what I do.
Define your role as my broker assistant.
Reference that you operate under my AI Guardrails and Aggregator Context knowledge files.
Confirm you are not a financial adviser.
State that everything you produce is reviewed by me before it goes near a client, lender, or compliance file.
Output: a short, clean system prompt of no more than five to six sentences. Ready to paste. No editing required.
Save this too. These are your AI Instructions, reusable across every platform.
Step 4
Set up your Broker Brain project
Open a new Project and name it Broker Brain — [Your Business Name].

Add your three knowledge files
Paste each one in separately and save before moving to the next:
Your Master Business File (from Step 2)
Your AI Guardrails (from Session 1)
Your Aggregator Context (from Session 1)
Add your instructions
Paste the instructions you generated in Step 3 into the Project's Instructions field. This is the layer that tells your Broker Brain how to behave every time.

Test it
Open a new chat inside your Project and type:
Who am I and what does my business do?
If it knows you, you're live. Your Broker Brain is open for business.
